     The Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters (R.M.P.A.P.) have held paint-outs (artists painting on location) since the inception in 2000.  In the plein air tradition, the R.M.P.A.P. have visited the following areas:  Agua Caliente Park-AZ, Bandelier National Monument- NM, Bobo Camari Ranch-AZ, Big Thompson Canyon-CO, Estes Park-CO, Front Range-CO, Ghost Ranch-NM, Grand Canyon National Park-AZ, Grand Lake-CO, Grand Teton National Park-WY, Homer-Alaska, Jackson-WY, Kaweeneeche Valley-CO, La Mariposa-AZ, Rabbit Ears Pass-CO,  Rocky Mountain National Park - CO, Steamboat Springs-CO, White Rock Overlook-NM, Winter Park-CO, Yellowstone National Park-WY, and the Zirkell Wilderness-CO.
