ABOUT THE EVENT

Scenic Crested Butte and the surrounding mountains will serve as the inspiration (and studio!) for 50 members and guest artists who will be creating all-new, never before seen paintings "en plein aire" during the week of July 8-15. And if that isn't reason enough to head for the hills, the event coincides with the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival, a celebration of the brief but spectacular peak of the wildflower season in this rugged climate.

Mild days. Cool nights. Pure mountain air. A charming high-country hamlet. A feast for the eyes. What more could you ask for? We hope you'll join us!
