Thirty-two
invited artists participated in the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters (R.M.P.A.P.)
Colorado Plein Air Event held in Winter Park, CO. Artists began
painting plein air (on location) from the Kawaneeche Valley, Fraser, Grand
Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park, and Winter Park areas of Colorado
beginning August 5th. Included in the event was a trip to the top of
the Winter Park Ski Resort, and a reception dinner at the Gast House
Eichler Restaurant. The show was hosted by Elk Horn Art Gallery.
Over 100 completed paintings were created and displayed by the artists,
and samples from each participating artist are shown above.
Paint-Out locations were held during the week. Congratulations to:
